Hi everyone, and welcome to my portfolio (blog). :D
Everything needs to be freshened up sometimes, which is why I’ve redesigned my portfolio. I wanted something that reflected my skills a bit better, and although the previous one wasn’t bad, this version is a bit more fitting to who I am and what I do. I’ll be graduating from my New Media Production and Design program soon – my work there finishes up at the end of April.
One of my last projects will be to reflect on my time at SAIT Polytechnic. It’s hard to believe that the last two years have gone by as quickly as they have, and a lot has changed in that time. I’ve grown up a lot as a person, become a lot more skilled, and met a lot of really cool, creative people. I think my continued interest in New Media has helped a lot, as I’ve been eager to learn pretty much everything my school had to offer. It also helped having friends and that were willing to give me a hand when I wasn’t sure about something, or even have them teach me something I didn’t previously know. This is something I look forward to when I go out into the world seeking a career in the new media field; getting to work with and learn from other talented people. My fiancĂ© who is already in the field has also been a big push – he’s encouraged me along the way and given me a lot of advice.
I look forward to the future and hope to add some interesting things to this blogs, including works in progress and the methods behind my work. Comments are always welcome, by the way. Thanks a lot for checking out my portfolio!
